Raw Emotions

Spent some time with my brother today. He took me to one side and said he had been to see his doctor for the third time. He is waiting on them to complete a form for the transplant team in order for him to pursue the possibility of being my living donor.

I can’t put into words the emotions this stirs in me. Gratitude, fear, humbled, protective to name just a few. I don’t think I can bare the thought of him putting himself, his family and our parents through this.

Tomorrow is my appointment with the transplant team, dietician and I think I’m due a scan too. Busy days!
